I never understood why they made Union monsters SS themselves in attack position. Why not make it either?

@ Lewis - Ash posted a topic on appropriate power levels. I feel like some of your Level 4s (Storm Mantis, Illusion Bolt) are outclassed because of this.

Buoyancy
Continuous Trap
When a WATER monster(s) are sent to your Graveyard and this card doesn't have a Liquid Counter: Pick 1; Banish it and place 1 Liquid Counter on this card. During your 2nd Standby Phase after it was banished: Add it to your hand, then remove 1 Liquid Counter from this card.

Derecho
Continuous Spell
You can Normal Summon multiple times per turn as long as all Normal Summoned monsters are WIND and their combined levels are equal to or less than 4 x the number of "Derecho" you control.  All WIND monsters you control gain 200 ATK.

Newgrange
Continuous Trap Card
If your opponent attacks an Attack Position EARTH monster: Your monster is not destroyed as a result of that battle. After damage calculation, change your monster to Defense position.

Backdraft
Continuous Spell
Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 FIRE monster you control; Inflict damage equal to half its ATK, and you can activate 1 of the following effects:
* Add 1 monster with the same name from your Deck to your Hand.
* Special Summon 1 FIRE monster from your hand with equal or less ATK.

The Land of Corporealizing Shadows
Field Spell
If a DARK monster attacks, or is targeted for an attack, the controller can make that a direct attack. If they do, battle damage is halved.


Pyronix the Burning Prodigy
Psychic | FIRE | Level 4
You cannot Special Summon. When this card is Summoned: Your opponent takes 400 damage. During the End Phase of a turn that your opponent took Effect Damage: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard; increase this card's ATK equal to the amount of damage they took (Max 1000)

Antimatter Psion

This card is also treated as a LIGHT monster. Only once per turn, if you lose life points, except by a battle involving an Antimatter Token: You can Special Summon 1 Antimatter Token (Thunder/DARK/Level 1/?/?). It has the same ATK and DEF as the Life Points you lost (Max: 2000). If a monster battles with an Antimatter Token, both monsters are destroyed after damage calculation.

Continuous Spell
When you Discard a card to a player's Graveyard: Flip a coin. If Heads: Return it to your Hand. If Tails: Banish it from the Graveyard at the end of this chain.

@Sea,

First of all, I really like Fountain of Eternity its well thought out card that doesn't really become a negative if played right. And Quicksand Camel is a total beast!, though I worry Camels DEF might be just a little high for an effect as good as that. May I suggest 1700 or 1800?

Okay, so after speaking to Ash again I have changed the cards to give them effects that are not so unappealing. I was just trying to balance things.

Thanks, and you're right, I lowered Camel's DEF.

Curry Favor is an Upstart Goblin-like card, whose drawback is a potential dead draw.

Phantom's Fortune
Normal Spell
Both players mill 2 cards. For each Spell or Trap card milled, they must send an equal number of monsters from their deck to the Graveyard.

Intense Meditation
Normal Spell
During your next 3 Standby Phases, once per turn, you can draw 1 card, then discard 1 card.

Cloning Machine (not my card & reworked)
Equip Spell Card
The ATK and DEF of the equipped monster become 0 and it cannot be used as an Xyz Material. When this card is activated: Special Summon 1 monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard with the same name as the equipped monster. When this card is removed from the field: Destroy the equipped monster.

Lab Research Sarcophagus
Normal Spell
Banish 1 Monster in your deck Face-Down. During your 3rd Standby Phase after activation, Special Summon the banished monster. It is unaffected by your opponent's card effects the turn it is summoned.

Lonely Seagull
Winged Beast | WATER | Level 1
While this is the only Attack-position monster you control, it cannot be destroyed in battle. Whenever you take Battle Damage, you can Special Summon 1 monster from your Graveyard with ATK equal to or less than the damage you took.

Coiled Pit Snake
Reptile | EARTH | Level 4
This card gains 500 ATK and DEF for each Defense-Position monster you control. If this card is destroyed in battle: Special Summon 1 "Coiled Pit Snake" from your Hand or Deck, in Defense Position.

Silverduster
Insect | WIND | Level 2
During either player's turn, during the Damage Step: You can return any Spell/Trap cards you control to your hand; Decrease the ATK and DEF of all monsters your opponent controls by 200 X the number of cards returned X the number of "Silverduster" you control, during the damage step only.

Okay, after reading these cards they seem okay. My two stand outs though are Coiled Pit Snake, which I think could be amazing and Silver duster.

Silverduster has a cool name and pretty unique stats, I love it's effect but I feel like it's attack is not strong enough to make enough use of it. I think its ATK could be a happy 1000 right now and still be fine.

Armour Scale

When this card is added to your hand by a Monster effect you can Special Summon it instead. This card gains 500 DEF for each Fish Type monster in your graveyard.

Harrowing Manta
Dark/Fish/Lv2/Atk-600/Def-600
You can Special Summon this card from your graveyard if you control no monsters. When this card is Special Summoned from the graveyard you can add 1 Level 4 or lower WATER monster from your Deck to your hand.

Flyingfisherman
Earth/Fish/Lv4/Atk-1400/Def-1200
This card gains 500 ATK points when it is attacked. Once per turn you can Discard 1 FISH type monster, with a different name than any in the graveyard, to the graveyard; destroy 1 card on the field.

Ramora mora

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can add 1 level 4 or lower FISH type monster from your Deck to your hand.

Agreshark

This card cannot be destroyed by a card effect if it is the only monster you control.

Sharp Tooth

This card can attack each monster your opponent controls if you control another FISH monster.

If you have exactly 3 FISH monsters in your graveyard you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Tribute summoned you can play a Field Spell from your Deck.

Battalchamist Angelfish

If you have exactly 3 FISH monsters in your graveyard you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is tribute Summoned you can switch the ATK and DEF of all monsters on the field.

Electrifying Eel

1 WATER TUNER + 1 non tuner monster
When this card is Synchro Summoned you can Destroy up to 2 Face-Down monsters on the field.

Floundragon

This card cannot be destroyed by the effect of Spell or Trap cards. As long as this card is Face-Up; Increase the ATK and DEF of all WATER monsters you control by 300.

Umiraia
Field Spell
While this card is on the field; WATER monsters you control gain 100 ATK and DEF for each WATER monster you control. Once per turn you can Banish 1 FISH type monster from your graveyard to gain Lifepoints equal to the ATK or DEF of the banished monster.

A Mythical Ocean
Field Spell
Once per turn; you can increase or decrease the level of all WATER monsters you control by 1. If you SYNCHRO summon a monster using a monster that changed level due to the effect of this card; it must be a WATER monster.
