So basically I wanted to make Liquefaction.dek, with low level WATERs and high level EARTHs. Existing WATER monsters actually make for remarkably good tribute material, with cards like Turtle Cavalry and Bloated Bacterium making Tokens, and Tungsten Oyster negating attacks.
There weren't too many good high level EARTHs, though. So I decided to turn it into a Plant hybrid, so I could also run Weed Mermaid. Of course this all took up a lot of space... That's why this deck has 37 goddamn monsters.
